Kurnool MP Butta Renuka, Kodamur MLA Mani Gandhi, District Collector S Satyanarayana and other department officials took part in the programme. Speaking on the occasion, Krishnamurthy said the aim of Janmabhoomi is to provide basic facilities to every village in the district.

To quench the thirst of 8,000 people of Pylakurthy village, Rs 300 crore proposal was sent to the central government, he stated and said the Collector has arranged to supply water through pipeline at a cost of Rs 25 lakh from Handri-Neeva. He further said that the Janmabhoomi will help immediate solution to the problems of the people. Butta Reuka said that she will also join hands in quenching the thirst of the people of Pylakurthy village.

She assured villagers of laying Cement Concrete (CC) roads with MPLAD funds and said that the government is striving for the betterment of the people of Andhra Pradesh. The Collector said that every application received in the last Janmabhoomi programme would be processed.

Around 494 individual latrines have been sanctioned to Pylakurthy village in which 432 were constructed. The Collector further said that works to extend drinking water from Gajula Dinne Project would start within two months. Later, the Deputy Chief Minister along with others distributed pensions, ration cards, pattadar passbooks to the beneficiaries.
