Divis Laboratories to fund Akshaya Patra’s kitchen

Divis Laboratories Director D Madhusudan Rao aid foundation stone and performed pooja for the modernised kitchen.Divis Laboratories is bearing the entire cost of the kitchen with an acre of land donated by noted orthopaedic surgeon DrSV Adinarayana of Free Polio Surgical and Research Foundation.
President of Akshaya Patra Foundation for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, Visakhapatnam unit president Niskinchana Bhakthadasa and Gambheeram Gramasarpanch B ArunaKumari were present. The lunch for students of government schools in the city will be cooked in the kitchen.
Over 30,000 students under the midday meal programme will be beneficiated with kitchen. Divis Laboratories had already presented a mobile food quality lab to Akshaya Patra to check the quality of raw material, vegetables and cooked food.
