Vijayawada Municipal Corporation, four mandals bag Janmabhoomi first prize

The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC), Nandigama municipality, Nandigama, Veerulapadu and Reddygudem mandals bagged first place in Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programmes. District Collector B Lakshmikantham said the district had secured five prizes in the total top 10 awards in the state.
Vijayawada: The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC), Nandigama municipality, Nandigama, Veerulapadu and Reddygudem mandals bagged first place in Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programmes. District Collector B Lakshmikantham said the district had secured five prizes in the total top 10 awards in the state.
He also asked the officials to create awareness among the public on digital literacy and other schemes of the state government. The Collector announced that Rs 1,300 crore worth loans would be distributed to beneficiaries on January 11 on the concluding day of Janmabhoomi.
