Foundation for Amrita varsity in Feb
Foundation laying ceremony of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will take place in February first week. This was conveyed by the management of the institution to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during a meeting on Wednesday at the Secretariat.
Amaravati: Foundation laying ceremony of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will take place in February first week. This was conveyed by the management of the institution to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during a meeting on Wednesday at the Secretariat. The university was allotted 150 acres in Amaravati by the state government. The management explained that they had completed preparation of designs for buildings of the university.
The first phase construction of the buildings will take place as per schedule, explained the management to the Chief Minister. Naidu directed them to construct the buildings in such a manner that they should compete with the buildings of other universities, educational institutions and other constructions coming in Amaravati. The Amrita University, which is ranked 168 in the entire Asia, will offer courses in School of Engineering and Management.
