Tirupati: Opposition leader and YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy assured minimum support price (MSP) to sugarcane farmers if the YSRCP is voted to power in the next elections.

On Wednesday evening, Jagan met the farmers at Gundupalli and discussed on their problems. The farmers explained to the Opposition leader the difficulties they were facing during cultivation.

On the 58th day of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, Jagan interacted with the villagers of Chipparapalle in GD Nellore constituency of Chittoor district. NRI couple Hariprasad and Saritha of Vedurukuppam took part in Jagan’s Padayatra.A few aged people complained to Jagan that they were not receiving pension regularly from the State government.

Women at Jakkadona village welcomed Jagan by giving Harathi. Jagan entered Jakkadona after completing 800-km of Padayatra so far. Later, he planted a sapling at Nala Venganapalli. Jagan’s Padayatra covered Paina Jeetivanioddu, Kinda Jeetivanioddu, Jakkidhona, Gantavaripalle, Pathagunda villages and ended near Gundupalli.

MLAs Narayana Swamy, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, R K Roja, Rajampeta MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy and others took part in the Padayatra.
