SV University Engineer arrested in disproportionate assets

Tirupati: Rudrakumar, an assistant engineer at SV University's engineering division, was arrested on Thursday on charges of amassing disproportionate assets, here in the temple town of Tirupati.

The sleuths of Anti Corruption Bureau conducted raids at his houses in Nellore, Tirupati and various other places on Wednesday.
The officials seized several documents of properties owned by Rudrakumar and his family members. It is learnt that the officials recovered unaccounted cash and jewellery at his house.

The officials said that RUdrakumar had amassed properties worth crores of rupees exceeding his known sources of income. The officials also checked three bank lockers of Rudrakumar.
