Two women were killed when a car in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary truck at Naidupet on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Subbamma (60) and Niranjani (31).
Nellore: Two women were killed when a car in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary truck at Naidupet on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Subbamma (60) and Niranjani (31).
Nagarjuna, who hails from Kammavaripalem in Venkatagiri mandal, went to visit their relative’s house at Vardaiahpalem mandal in Chittoor district along with his family members.
They were returning to their village by car. At Swarnamukhi barrage near Naidupet, car hit a stationary lorry. The accident took place at 6.30 p.m. Nagarjuna and his daughter received minor injuries and were shifted to Naidupet hospital for treatment.
