Indira Gandhi National Open University announces fee exemption for SC/ST candidates
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) announced complete fee exemption to the SC/ST candidates who seek admissions in IGNOU for January 2018 session. All IGNOU programmes of certificate, diploma, degree level and research courses are available with fee exemption and reimbursement for the SC/ST candidates who seek admissions for January 2018 session.
Visakhapatnam: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) announced complete fee exemption to the SC/ST candidates who seek admissions in IGNOU for January 2018 session. All IGNOU programmes of certificate, diploma, degree level and research courses are available with fee exemption and reimbursement for the SC/ST candidates who seek admissions for January 2018 session.
The SC/ST candidates, who wish to avail the facility of fee exemption, may submit admission forms at IGNOU Regional Centre, Visakhapatnam or IGNOU Study Centres located in Visakhapatnam, Anakaplle, Rajamahendravaram, Kakinada, Tuni, Amalapuram, Rajam, Dr BR Ambedkar University, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram.
According to Regional Director of IGNOU Visakhapatnam Dr S Raja Rao, the candidates have to download the admission form from IGNOU website and the filled-in forms should be submitted, along with the copies of requisite educational qualifications and latest community certificate issued by competent authority. The candidates, who wish to submit offline admission forms need not pay any programme fee.
Those who are submitting online applications can avail fee reimbursement facility for January 2018 session. They are required to pay fee online as per the current university norms. Their fees will be reimbursed by IGNOU after completion of admissions. The last date for admissions is January 31, 2018.
IGNOU Enters into MoU with Common Service Centres. The IGNOU entered into agreement with Common Service Centre/Mee Seva for providing online admission services of IGNOU. This agreement enables all the prospective learners of IGNOU to avail digital services from Common Service Centres/Mee Seva.
The service providers at these Common Service Centres/Mee Seva will assist the prospective learners for submission of online admission forms/examination forms etc. through their network. They also help the learners to scan the documents, certificates, photographs uploading online and pay the programme fee through the CSC account.
