Tirupati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reiterated his commitment to make the state progress industrially, financially and economically.
Participating in a programme organised to celebrate winning of National Energy Conservation Award for 2017 held at Heritage Foods Limited at Kasipentla of Chandragiri mandal on Sunday, the Chief Minister congratulated the Heritage team for getting the award. Stating that Heritage Foods was started in 1991, Naidu said that he could not concentrate on company due to busy in politics.
He hailed his wife Bhuvaneswari, the MD of Heritage Foods, his son Nara Lokesh and his wife Brahmani for taking care of the Heritage Foods and keeping it on progressive path.
Out of 9 energy conservation awards so far, Heritage won 8 awards and it shows the dedication of the staff in conserving the energy, the Chief Minister said.
Earlier, Naidu’s grandson Devansh lighted the lamp and unveiled the awards. Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh, his wife and executive director N Brahmani, Heritage Foods general manager Vamseedhar, operations head Prasad and dairy division head Samba Murthy participated.
On Monday, the Chief Minister will pay homage to his parents N Kharjura Naidu and Ammanamma at their graves in Naravaripalle. Later he will participate in a reception at his home for which all his relatives were invited.
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister will inaugurate a community health centre at Naravaripalle and participate in other development works before leaving Tirupati.
Meanwhile Hindupur MLA N Balakrishna, his wife Vasundhara and sisters participated in Bhogi mantalu programme at Naravaripalle.
Addressing media, Balakrishna said everyone should practise the customs and traditions and celebrate the festivals.
While returning from Tirumala, Balakrishna went to Krishna Teja theatre where his latest film ‘Jai Simha’ is being screened and talked to his fans.
