Patient’s death leads to tension at hospital
Tension prevailed at Sri Madan Super Specialty Hospital located at PeddammaThalli Gudi area in Proddaturu town on Sunday as the relatives of a patient ransacked the furniture alleging that the patient was dead due to wrong treatment.

According to the sources, S VenkatMahesh (41) of Potladurthy village of Yerraguntla mandal had received serious head injury as his motorcycle on which he was travelling hit the culvert at Bismillapur village. He was rushed to the ProddaturGovernment Hospital first and later to Sri Madan Super Specialty Hospital. The hospital authorities demanded Rs 48,000.
A doctor administered one injection to the patient which allegedly caused death. The hospital authorities were reluctant to allow the relatives of the deceased person into the hospital which led to the unrest. Meanwhile some leadersintervened in the matter and settled the issuefor both parties.
