Amravati: Good news for Andhra Pradesh Tourism department as yet another feather is added to its cap. The AP Tourism department has received an international award.
The award will conferred by the Pacific Region Tourism Writers' Association. According to a statement, the company will be awarded the APP award of Pacific region tourism writers to Andhra Pradesh state. The award ceremony will be held on March 9 at Berlin. The Tourism Secretary Mukesh Kumar Marina will attend the event and receive the award.
The city of Amaravati is gradually transforming itself as a city of art and culture. The Andhra Pradesh tourism department has recently employed Fountainhead to manage Amaravati Theatre Festival.
With a view to making Amaravati a hub of performing arts to provide a platform for knowledge sharing between local theatre groups, the government has been devising various ways to promote tourism in the state.
