The district administration is making elaborate arrangements for the successful conduct of Gandikota Heritage festival.
Kadapa: The district administration is making elaborate arrangements for the successful conduct of Gandikota Heritage festival. The festival will be held from January 21-23 at Gandikota village in Jammalamadugu mandal. More than 1 lakh people from Telugu states and neighbouring state Karnataka are expected to witness the three-day event.
The APSRTC Kadapa region is gearing up to run additional buses from all 8 depots to Gandikota. The police officials are reviewing the security arrangements as Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and other Ministers are expected to attend in the event.
Regional Tourism Officer Gopal said that the Tourism department is planning to introduce boating in the river near Gandikota as three boats are expected to reach the district within two days.
