Karra samu — a traditional Dravidian sport is presently on the verge of extinction. The three day Sankranthi festivities bring upon several cultural and traditional competitions like Karra samu. The Karra samu sport is performed in almost all the villages and major towns in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka states.
Former Minister Nettam Raghuram, DSP Murali and several others took part in the event.
