Bankers told to release 1,100 cr to Krishna ryots

Vijayawada: District Collector B Lakshmikantham directed the bankers to release Rs 1,100 crore crop loan in the next 10 days. Reviewing the bankers’ loan targets with the officials of various banks at the Collector's conference hall here on Wednesday, he said Rs 2,600 crore loan amount has been released so far as against the total target of Rs 3,500 crore.
The loan target is Rs 350 crore for tenant farmers but Rs 150 crore was released and the remaining amount should be released in next 10 days, he said
