Gutka worth 1 crore seized; 3 held
Manubolu police nabbed three persons and seized 270 bags of gutka worth Rs 1.08 crore; 7,600 grams of ganja; Rs 4,420 cash and a mini truck from them. The accused were identified as K Krishna (48), T Ashok (32) and M Chandraiah (59).

Addressing the media at Manubolu police station on Wednesday, District Superintendent of Police (SP) PHD Ramakrishna said that Manubolu police personnel have identified a driver of a mini truck, who was trying to escape, while they were conducting vehicular checks on national highway.
The cops chased the truck and apprehended three persons and seized gutka packets and ganja from the truck, the SP said. The accused were transporting gutka packets and ganja to Rajahmundry, Tenali and Gannavaram from Chennai. Gudur DSP V S Ramababu and other police officials were present.
