Kodali Nani pays tributes to NTR
The death anniversary of Telugu Desam Party founder and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao was observed in various parts of city and in Krishna district on Thursday.
Vijayawada: The death anniversary of Telugu Desam Party founder and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao was observed in various parts of city and in Krishna district on Thursday. MP Kesineni Srinivas, MLAs Gadde Rammohana Rao, Bonda Umamaheshwara Rao, Jaleel Khan participated in the programme at various centres in the city.
They paid rich tributes to NTR by garlanding his statues and portraits at various areas. All the TDP Committees of the city also conducted meetings, blood donation and free meals at some centres. Senior leaders recalled their association with the late NT Rama Rao. Youth leader Devineni Avinash observed NTR’s death anniversary by distributing fruits to the poor.
On the other hand, YSR Congress Party MLA Kodali Nani also took part in the NTR death anniversary at Gudiwada town in Krishna district and called upon the fans of NTR to extend support to YS Jaganmohan Reddy for reviving the NTR model rule in the state.
He said the present rulers in TDP did not have the right to observe NTR’s death anniversary. Similarly, NTR death anniversary was observed at various places, including NTR’s native village Nimmakuru in Krishna district.
