Rajakumari promises justice to molested victim

According to police, 13-year-old girl from Annangi village in Maddipadu mandal in Prakasam district was dragged into the bushes by one Kunchala Naveen of the same village.
The girl escaped from the clutches of the man and raised alarm, in turn, villagers came to her rescue but by that time he fled the scene. Based on a complaint, police registered a case against the youth. Later, they shifted the girl to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Ongole.
Rajakumari met the girl and her family members, along with the commission member Tammisetty Ramadevi, on Wednesday and consoled the victim. She said that it is disheartening that this kind of incidents happening again and again even though strict measures are being taken by the authorities.
