Australian Trade Commissioner (South Asia) Peter Coleman paid a visit to GITAM campus for a meeting with GITAM  University Vice-Chancellor Prof MS Prasada Rao here on Thursday.

Visakhapatnam: Australian Trade Commissioner (South Asia) Peter Coleman paid a visit to GITAM campus for a meeting with GITAM University Vice-Chancellor Prof MS Prasada Rao here on Thursday.

Coleman leads an education team across South Asia and manages a range of operations in Mumbai and Sri Lanka. As a Trade Commissioner for Education he is at GITAM to explore potential opportunities for collaborations with GITAM University and Australian Universities.

Coleman discussed some of the key interest areas such as student exchange, faculty exchange joint programmes and research. He was impressed with the facilities at the campus and said that it is remarkable that GITAM is able to offer such facility.

Later, he visited GITAM School of International Business and took note of their core areas for possible linkages with top ranked Australian Universities for collaborative research and student exchange.

Meanwhile, a voluntary blood donation camp was conducted at GITAM Dental College and Hospital at GIMSR blood bank and collected 300 units of blood from 500 NSS volunteers.
