During a convocation ceremony on Friday, a student who won a medal, tried to strike a conversation with AP Education Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao only to tell him that he was successful due to the encouragement and support from his seniors but not because of the faculty in the campus.
The graduate identified as Shivakumar followed the Minister till the latter's guest house. When the security stopped him from further following the Minister, he urged them saying that he wanted to meet the Minister. However, the Minister tried to avoid him and asked the young graduate to call to his personal number sometime later.
