Expressing solidarity to the agitating nursery growers, Rajamahendravaram Urban BJP MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana has said that the agitation of nursery farmers is justified and demanded the state government to supply power to nurseries freely.
Earlier, free power was given to nurseries and now why the government is trying to collect electricity charges from them?, he questioned and assured to take the issue to the notice of the government.
YSR Congress Party youth wing state president Jakkampudi Raja has said it is unfortunate that the government collecting electricity charges in Kadiyam. Agitation will be intensified if the government fails to fulfil the demand of nursery farmers.
YSRCP greater Rajamahendravaram president Kandula Durgesh assured to lend support to the agitating farmers until the government resolves their problem. At present, nursery farmers are facing many problems and the electricity bills mount burden on them, he said.
TDP leaders Pantham Kondala Rao, Margani Satyanarayana and V Prasad, YSRCP rural co-ordinators Akula Virraju, Girajala Virraju and others expressed their support to nursery farmers. Nursery farmers Iswar, Subramanyam and several others participated in the agitation.
