Visakhapatnam: The YSR Congress Party on Saturday alleged that the three-day international women entrepreneurs’ conference is a flop show. As there is no response from the women entrepreneurs, the government deputed women government teachers from various schools, including Queen Marry School, to the conference branding them as women entrepreneurs.

Releasing photographs of government school teachers, who participated as entrepreneurs in the conference, at a press conference here on Saturday, women wing president of YSR Congress Party Garikana Gowri and party senior leaders S Chandra Mouli and Pakki Diwakar said it is a shame to the government.

Though the government claimed that the event is an international conference, there are no representatives from any developed country and developing country. As there are no women in the conference on second and third day, the government directed the education department officials to mobilise government teachers to the conference, Gowri alleged.

“The Chief Minister should announce about international participants and the outcome of the conference. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is always claims that his government is a pro woman. If it is true, the government should release the details how many women, SC and ST entrepreneurs grounded units and how many availed bank loans during the past four years,” Gowri demanded.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is wasting the people’s money in the name of national and international conferences. But there is no outcome from the events. In the past four years, the TDP government made a huge expenditure on various events, claiming that large scale of employment opportunities would be generated but to no avail.
