Tirupati: CITU and AITUC district leaders Kandrapu Murali and P Murali have alleged that TTD is acting against the natural justice in non-Hindu employees issue. They pointed out the TTD issued show cause notice to non- Hindu employees for termination. The trade union leaders spoke to media on Monday. As per the law, the action taken by TTD against the non-Hindu employees is totally wrong, they said.

“Many of the non-Hindu employees are working in education institutions, administrative departments and transport department. Most of them are nearing retirement stage, they said. Without calling for an explanation, the TTD has issued show cause notices to its 45 non-Hindu employees fortermination.

It is against the constitutional fundamental rights, we seek action against the officers who had appointed the above non-Hindu persons as employees in TTD, they stated. Trade union leaders have demanded the TTD that on humanitarian grounds, the EO should protect their livelihood, because many families were depended on those employees. They clarified that they have not against the Hindu religious sentiments.
