Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Water Resources Minister Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao has said YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has no right to speak on irrigation projects.
The minister questioned the YSR Congress leader for not taking up the Polavaram Project works. He held YS Jagan responsible for the escalation of the project cost and land acquisition because of the petitions filed by his party in the courts.
Uma reiterated that the project works will be completed by 2019. The new contract agency Navayuga company will speed up the concrete works. The minister said RTC bus transportation will be provided for people to visit Polavaram project from next month.
