Police arrested two persons for deceiving women in the name of uterus transplantation by offering them huge money. According to Two town inspector BVJ Raju, KAdilakshmi and P V Srikanth of Vizag city have visited some streets in the town and identified some innocent women in the town.

Vizianagaram: Police arrested two persons for deceiving women in the name of uterus transplantation by offering them huge money. According to Two town inspector BVJ Raju, KAdilakshmi and P V Srikanth of Vizag city have visited some streets in the town and identified some innocent women in the town. Later they convinced the women that they will offer Rs5 lakh if they give their uterus to transplant to some others.

Around 15 women of the town were trapped believing their words. Interestingly, the duo told women to give Rs 30,000- 40,000 to conduct medical examination before removing their uterus. Adilakshmi and Srikanth have collected around Rs 5 lakh from the women and absconded from the town.

After receiving a complaint from R Rajeswari and others,the police arrested the duo. Srikanth is basically a painter and Adilakshmi introduced herself as a doctor to these women. Dr G Sanyasamma, a gynaecologist stated that transplantation of uterus is not materialised so far in the world and experts are working on this issue.
