While the TDP rank and file stunned with Jagan 's statement, the BJP leadership in Andhra is analyzing the pros and cons of the YSR Congress leader's statement. Most of the saffron party leaders opined the alliance between BJP and YSR Congress will be a win win situation for both parties.
The leaders felt that TDP has been neglecting the BJP and also conspired to weaken the party. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's recent statement that his TDP will form government on its won by winning majority seats in the 2019 election. The 'anti - Chandrababu' group in BJP wanted to end the alliance with TDP. They also sent message to BJP President Amit Shah the political benefits to the BJP if it sailed with YS Jagan's party.
The 'Pro- Chandrababu ' group argued the alleged corruption charges faced by YS Jagan will dent the BJP election prospects . They also said YSR Congress party is not interested to join hands with BJP as many leaders are opposing to go along with a religious based party.
