Travancore Ayurveda receives NABH accreditation

Travancore Ayurveda at Daspalla Hills in the city becomes the first Ayurveda Panchakarma Clinic in the state, which achieved accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH), the highest national recognition for providing quality patient care and safety. 

Visakhapatnam: Travancore Ayurveda at Daspalla Hills in the city becomes the first Ayurveda Panchakarma Clinic in the state, which achieved accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH), the highest national recognition for providing quality patient care and safety.

It also got the first NABH accreditation in Telangana State for its Madinaguda, Hyderabad Clinic. The NABH recognises Ayurveda Panchakarma clinics for fulfilling high standards in delivering safety and high-quality health care to their patients. This accreditation from NABH recognises the fact that the hospital/clinic meets strict standards of quality and safety set by the board.

The NABH is a constituent of the Quality Council of India (QCI) set up by the Central government. It is an autonomous body that establishes and operates accreditation programmes for hospitals and healthcare institutions. Travancore Ayurveda provides treatments for all chronic ailments mainly stress management, skin diseases, pain management, infertility, post-natal care, arthritis and spondylitis and variety of wellness programmes.

Anjani Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, Travancore Ayurveda, said that the clinic is serving best of Ayurveda treatments with well designed and maintained hygienic facilities. Dr Rambabu-Head of Practice and Governance, Travancore Ayurveda, said that the approach is to provide the result oriented authentic Ayurveda treatment with high focus on regular follow ups, maintenance of health preventive care.
