Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) organising a job mela for two days here which began at Chadalavada Ramanamma Engineering College (CREC) on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, principal consultant and APSSDC Director Dr N Sailaja said that the organisation was providing training, employment opportunities and organising job melas for the benefit of unemployed.

These programmes help them increase their self-confidence, creativity and talent through which they can excel in the job they are appointed. Unemployed youth can enrol their details online through APSSDC website and acquire jobs according to their qualifications. Tirupati MLA M Suguna said that the job mela was being organised in Tirupati to fill 3,371 jobs in 51 MNCs. She gave a call to the youth to make use of job mela.

CREC Chairman Dr Chadalavada Sucharitha stated that her college will always come forward to extend any kind of cooperation for the benefit of youth. TUDA Chairman G Narasimha Yadav, MEPMA PD AD Jyothi, SETVEN CEO S Lakshmi, DRDA PD Raviprakash Reddy and APSSDC officials have participated. A total of 5,804 candidates took part in the job mela on the first day which will continue on Thursday also.
