Energy expert Ranganatham receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Advisor to AP Energy Department K Ranganatham has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his services to the department for nearly 50 years. Principal Secretary to IT and Energy Department K Vijayanand presented the award to Ranganatham.
Amaravati: Advisor to AP Energy Department K Ranganatham has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his services to the department for nearly 50 years. Principal Secretary to IT and Energy Department K Vijayanand presented the award to Ranganatham.
In his message, Energy Minister Kala Venkata Rao congratulated Ranganatham for being honoured with the Life Time Achievement award. The minister advised all young engineers to emulate Ranganatham and provide better services to the sector and to the consumers.
Vijayanand said that he was happy to honour Ranganatham with the award as a befitting recognition for his dedicated and valuable services and commendable performance of over 50 years in the power sector.
He further said that Ranganatham provided remarkable performance in all capacities from assistant engineer to CMD of APTransco and now advisor to Energy department. He could be termed as the ‘Mokshagundam of Andhra Pradesh’.
On receiving the award, Ranganatham said it was a memorable experience of being honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award. He suggested to the employees of power utilities that all young engineers are expected to be always ready to face the new challenges. He hoped that APGenco and APTtransco would cross several milestones in future.
