Collector to launch pharma & biotech course at Yogi Vemana University today
District Collector Baburao Naidu will inaugurate ‘Pratyancha’, a skill development programme on advanced pharma and biotechnology at Yogi Vemana University (YVU) on Saturday.
Kadapa: District Collector Baburao Naidu will inaugurate ‘Pratyancha’, a skill development programme on advanced pharma and biotechnology at Yogi Vemana University (YVU) on Saturday.
The programme is jointly certified by Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC), AP State Skill Development Council (APSSDC), and CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT). The course is a mix of theory lessons and practical hands-on training through independent small projects.
The hands-on training will be conducted at CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad. Theory sessions will be conducted by leading industry experts from the biotechnology, pharma and allied industries.
Dr Uday Bhaskar DG Pharmexil, Dr TS Rao Senior Advisor of DBT, Dr PVA Rama Rao former MD of NABARD, Srinivas Shankar Prasad Convener of task force committee, Dr Bal Kumar Marthi Chief Programme Coordinator, Pratyancha & Task Force member Dr China Raju, Sri Biotech Managing Director Dr KRK Reddy are among those who will grace the occasion.
