Addressing party activists, Pawan Kalyan said that he himself is from a farmer's family and intends to work for the welfare of farmers.

Asserting his commitment to the development of Rayalaseema, he assured to work for the removal of drought completely from the region till his last breath.

Among other things, Pawan Kalyan said that he will promote employment and welfare of people while also working towards prevailing a social equality by seeking suggestions of experts.

The party chief interacted with farmers who shared their woes in the meeting termed Jana Sena Rythu Charcha Ghosti. Following this, he promised to meet the District Member of Parliament (MP) and the respective legislators to resolve the issue of drought in Anantapur.
