Chainman cum Managing Director of RINL P Madhusudan called upon the collective of the company to exhibit mettle through concerted efforts for a significant turnaround and good growth.

Celebrating the 69th Republic Day, the CMD unfurled the National Flag and took the salute from the armed forces. Addressing the RINL communities, Madhusudan said that the production from the expansion units were ramped up and the utilisation levels are reaching decent levels.

The focused marketing initiatives helped RINL to achieve a growth of 18 per cent in sales volume despite of ‘Periods of Lull’ in the markets. The RINL successfully forayed into coastal shipping for the first time as an alternative to the present modes of logistics, the CMD said.

Madhusudan advocated Panchatantra ‘5-E’s for the success of the company. The ‘5-E’s stands to elevate the levels of performance through higher volumes, production, expand the horizons of operations and geographical presence through market penetration, development of new products, enhance the commitment towards safety, housekeeping, energy efficiency, research and development, exhibit a corporate culture through leadership in timely completion of projects and tasks, demonstration of high level of transparency and ensure compliance of all statutory requirements, expansion of green cover and strict adherence to operational discipline, he explained.

RINL Directors, PC Mohapatra, P Raychaudhury, KC Das, VV Venugopal Rao, PK Rath, Commandant of CISF Irfan Ahmed and Honorary President of Visteel Mahila Samiti Gouri Annapurna were present.

The school children of Ukkunagaram presented a scintillating dance performances depicting Gram Swaraj, Swachh Bharat to mark the occasion. A dog show by CISF personnel is a special attraction at the event. The CISF special commandos exhibited their skills and demonstration in combating attacks at the end of the programme.
