Guntur: Leader of the Opposition in the State Legislative Council Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu said that the padayatra undertaken by the YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was getting tremendous response from the people and that was why the TDP leaders, including CM N Chandrababu Naidu were getting sacred.

He was participating in a padayatra undertaken by YSRCP leaders Monday and garlanded the statue of Dr.BRAmbedkar's statue at the Lodge Centre in Guntur city on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion,he reminded them that the Chief Minister, who earlier, boasted that there was no need to worry about Jagan’s Padayatra, was very much worried now about its political fallout. He lashed out at the TDP leaders for making frivolous comments against the padayatra. He said that Chandrababu Naidu has failed to keep up the promises that he made in 2014 and was misleading the people.

Coming down heavily on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, MLA Mohammad Mustafa lamented that Naidu has miserably failed in implementing the crop loan waiver scheme to all those eligible, which, in turn, led to farmers' suicides in the State. He said that the Chief Minster uttered600 lies to the people and came to power.

Now, he was cheating them and warned that people would teach him a bitter lesson. He reminded that the latter purchased 22 MLAs to weaken the YSRCP, out of which, four were made Ministers. He lambasted the TDP government for doing nothing to the poor. Similarly, YSRCP leaders conduced two padayatras in their respective Assembly constituencies.
