Paritala Sunitha clarifies on Pawan Kalyan's head-tonsuring episode

Anantapur: Although the Pawan Kalyan's visit to Minister Paritala Sunitha's residence in Anantapur district raised eyebrows among the political circles in the state, the infamous story of head-tonsuring has come to the fore yet again on Sunday.

The story goes that Sunitha's husband — the then TDP leader and MLA late Paritala Ravi had tonsured the head of Pawan Kalyan in an attempt to teach a lesson to megastar Chiranjeevi. The story peppered with several rumours also says that Ravi had a face-off with Chiranjeevi over a land dispute in Jubillee Hills in those times.

Giving a detailed clarification to this episode, Paritala Sunitha said that she too had heard about the rumours through newspapers and electronic media. "My husband was not a person who would tonsure anybody's head. He used to encourage everyone but he had never caused any harm or troubled anyone in his life. Pawan Kalyan had never met my husband," she said.

When reporters gathered at the Minister to ask Pawan Kalyan over the issue, the Jana Sena leader just smiled it away saying that he could not tell anything much about this.
