Amaravati: Endowments Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao said the BJP was also following coalition dharma and the small issues if any with their alliance partner Telugu Desam Party would be sorted out soon.

Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat on Monday, the Minister said the BJP was bound by coalition dharma (with TDP) and was controlling party leaders from making any adverse comments against the TDP.

“Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has responded positively and he is ready to resolve any issue between the two parties. He told us that he will control his party leaders from making any comments against BJP. So we will also do the same. We will work together without giving chance to any differences,” Manikyala Rao said.

The Minister further said several devotees come to Tirumala twice in a month to offer prayers to Lord Venkateswara which was giving troubles to those who visit the temple once in a year.

“We want to know public opinion over the issue to restrict devotees who often visit the temple," he said. He also said that change of name of Endowments department (Devadaya Dharmadaya Sakha) was also under consideration.

The Minister reiterated that no ‘Tantrik rituals’ were conducted at Kanaka Durga temple and departmental enquiry over the issue was also completed.

He said the government was taking steps to develop Srikalahasti temple with an amount of Rs 100 crore. He also said family members of ailing employees would be appointed for services in temples.
