Kurnool: Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy has refuted the allegations of the YSRCP leaders and denied his involvement in the attack on YSRCP leader Raghu Rami Reddy and two others at Dhaba near Nandyal on Sunday evening. Byreddy said that someone has deliberately fabricated him in the false case even though he was not present in the state on Sunday.

He asked how far it was fair to link him to the incident when he was in New Delhi on Sunday. Addressing a press conference here on Monday, he said that Raghu Rami Reddy was his well-wisher and he has come to know about the unfortunate incident only through his followers.

He said that he was taken aback after coming to know about the attack. He said that he was ready to face any punishment if his involvement was proved in the attack. It is the act of some known persons, who are not interested in his joining the Telugu Desam Party. Later, he went to the hospital where Raghu Rami Reddy was admitted and spoke to him for a while.
