Interviews date deferred
Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) vice-chancellor Professor Murru Mutyala Naidu has said that the re-verification of applications pertaining to 15 professor posts of various departments were completed.
Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) vice-chancellor Professor Murru Mutyala Naidu has said that the re-verification of applications pertaining to 15 professor posts of various departments were completed.
As per the directions from state government, the interviews which were scheduled from January 28 were postponed. Speaking to The Hans India here on Monday, Murru Mutyala Naidu said that as many as 161 applications were received for 14 Professor posts in the university.
After verifying the applications of candidates, the committee selected as many as 111 applicants for interviews and call letters were sent to them. Meanwhile, some candidates who did not receive the call letters complained to Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) suspecting some lapses in selection process.
With this, a letter was sent to APSCHE from the university to post-pone the interviews. All the 111 candidates were selected for interviews based on their qualifications and merit. Along with AKNU Registrar, Dean and three from other universities verified the applications and reverification was also conducted carefully. Interviews, will be held after getting consent from the government.
