Man throttles wife to death
With another murder case reported on Monday, the death toll reached to seven in January and five murder attempt cases were registered in current month. In a gruesome incident, a person murdered his wife in a fit of rage by throttled her to death at Vemagottipalem of Anadapuram mandal in the district. Â

The deceased was identified as 29-year-old M Eeswaramma, killed by her husband M Koteswara Rao, who is working as lorry cleaner. According to police, Eswaramma was married Koteswara Rao in 2005. In the past two years, differences emerged between the couple due to various issues including financial and family affairs.
In a fit of rage, Koteswara Rao after an altercation, with Eswaramma throttled her to death. According to sources, the accused was taken into custody. The police registered a case.
