Kurnool: Burglars decamped with six tolas of gold ornaments and Rs 10,000 cash from a retired employee’s house at Ganesh Nagar here on Tuesday. Obulesu, a retired railway employee, went to his relative’s house on Monday and returned on Tuesday.
He was shocked to see that the main door was broken, and the household objects were scattered in the house. Suspecting a burglary, he lodged a complaint with the police.
On receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and called the fingerprint experts and pressed dog squad into service for identifying the burglars. The III-Town police registered a case and took up an investigation.
