Guntur: Former Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah said Governors will pay key role at a crucial time and added that their role is clearly defined in the Constitution. When reporters asked him over criticism on style of functioning of Governor of AP and Telangana ESL Narasimhan, he refused to comment.

He said he is not active in politics and age is not permitting him to play active role in politics. He said he is no longer in a position to do justice if any post is given to him. Rosaiah came to Guntur city to meet his childhood friend and former MLA Chadalavada Jayarambabu on Tuesday. He refused to comment on the developments in the state after bifurcation. Later, Chadalavada Jayarambabu felicitated Rosaiah.

Former minister and BJP leader Kanna Lakshminarayana, Former MP Dr Yalamanchili Sivaji, TDP leader Dr Rayapati Srinivas, former MLA Lingamsetty Eswara Rao and DCC president Makkena Mallikarjuna Rao were among those who met K Rosaiah.
