Sivaji fetes shuttler Navya Rao
The upcoming shuttler Marri Nayva Rao is shining in Dalit community, said SC and ST Commission Chairman Karem Sivaji. At a programme held at R & B Guest House here on Tuesday, Karem Sivaji felicitated the star shuttler from Kakinada city Navya for winning a number of prizes.

Speaking on the occasion, Sivaji said that the government has been implementing many welfare programmes for the development of the SCs and STs in the state. He stated that they would provide a sponsor for Navya’s tours in the country as well as an international tournament at Malaysia in the month of March.
Sivaji also said that they would ask the District Collector to provide necessary financial assistance with the help of District Sports Authority organisation.
Speaking on the occasion, Navya said that she would try to be one of the top ten players in the country. He presented a 10,000 rupees cheque to shuttler Navya sponsored by the Mother Teresa Nursing School. SC Corporation ED David Raju, Dalit leaders Dhanarasi Syam Sundar, Battina Atcha Rao, P Rama Rao and others participated.
