Chittoor: With the joining of the former ZP Chairman M Subramanyam Reddy into the TDP, the TDP district president P Nani said that the party became strong in Kuppam Assembly constituency. He opined that the YSRCP will lose deposit in Kuppam in the next Assembly elections.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, Nani stated that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been striving for the last three decades to develop Kuppam constituency as a role model. Entry of M Subramanyam Reddy will strengthen the party in Kuppam, he said, adding that the TDP cadre will extend support to Subramanyam Reddy.

TDP district chief has made an appeal to the YSRCP MLAs to desert their party and join the TDP for development of their constituencies. He reiterated that the district is emerging as hub for industries due to the initiative of Minister Nara Lokesh.

Meanwhile, TDP leaders like ZP Chairperson Girvani Chandra Prakash, Chittoor MLA DA Satyaprabha, Chittoor Mayor K Hemalatha and MLC B N Rajasimhulu and others have welcomed the entry ofSubramanya Reddy.
