Vijayawada: Vijayawada Catholic Diocese Bishop T Joseph Raja Rao on Wednesday inaugurated a nine-day Navadina prayers at Gunadala Mary Mata temple.
Speaking on the occasion, the Bishop said Vijayawada Diocese will organise the nine-day Navadina prayers as part of preparations for the three-day annual Mary Mata celebrations to be held from February 9 to 11 at the Mary Mata shrine on Gunadala Hillock.
Bishop, along with other priests, offered special prayers for the universal peace and harmony. He said lakhs of devotees will attend the Mary Mata celebrations.
