Miscreants broke glasses of a car, which was parked at Jaggadiguntapalem village under Tenali town in Guntur district, on Wednesday. According to police, Jaggadiguntapalem gramapanchyat secretary Ramasubbaiah withdrew Rs 5,37,000 cash from the bank to distribute social security pensions and kept the cash in the car and  closed the glasses and locked the car doors.

Guntur: Miscreants broke glasses of a car, which was parked at Jaggadiguntapalem village under Tenali town in Guntur district, on Wednesday. According to police, Jaggadiguntapalem gramapanchyat secretary Ramasubbaiah withdrew Rs 5,37,000 cash from the bank to distribute social security pensions and kept the cash in the car and closed the glasses and locked the car doors.

He parked the vehicle near MPDO office and went to the office. When he came back, he surprised to notice that the car window glasses were broken and cash bag went missing. Some miscreants broke front side car window glasses and decamped with the cash.

He lodged a complaint with Tenali One Town Police Station. In turn, police rushed to spot and enquired about the incident. Tenali One Town SI K Sivajai said they registered a case and took up investigation.
