Police arrests blackmailer

Kondapi: Prakasam district police arrested a blackmailer on Wednesday for threatening girls and women in the name of posting their personal intimate photos on internet.

According to Tangutur SI Ch Venkateswarlu, Maddela Nagendra Babu, a resident of Konijedu village in Tangutur mandal, trapped girls and women in the name of friendship and love takes their photos when they were in intimacy. He uses the photos to blackmail them.

The police received a complaint from the husband of a woman about the blackmailing and arrested him, along with the photos and video clips, and produced before the court. The magistrate sent Nagendra Babu, who is the accused in the same type of crime and is out on bail, to remand on Wednesday.
