Addressing the media here on Friday, Swamiji said that Lord Hanuman is an epitome of devotion and selfless service. He is the favorite deity and a role model for millions of devotees across the globe. When the peace is in danger and universal fraternity is losing its human values, Lord Hanuma would make corrective steps, he added.

"The peetam has chosen Visakhapatnam as a place of for the programme. We are expecting the crowd over one lakh to be present in the event. Mass Hanuman-Chalisa Maha Yagna aims at achieving universal peace, harmony, brotherhood and prosperity of the state.

Besides, chanting of Hanuman Chalisa empowers the atmosphere to combat the calamities of nature and protecting the living beings from the pollution, excessive heat being caused by the disturbances in the ozone layer, tsunamis and other natural calamities,” Ganapati Sachchidananda Swami said.
