No political motive: Cops
No political motive has been established in attack on YSRCP Gara mandal leader B Ramasesu, said Srikakulam DSP V Bhima Rao. Ramasesu was injured in attack by unidentified persons on December 21 last year near Srikurmam in Gara mandal but he was unable to explain the incident and not cooperating with the police for investigation, DSP clarified.
Srikakulam: No political motive has been established in attack on YSRCP Gara mandal leader B Ramasesu, said Srikakulam DSP V Bhima Rao. Ramasesu was injured in attack by unidentified persons on December 21 last year near Srikurmam in Gara mandal but he was unable to explain the incident and not cooperating with the police for investigation, DSP clarified.
“We seized some belongings of injured Ramasesu from the place of offence but later the victim unable to answer about his rivals. The victim also said contradictory statements about his injuries, earlier, he told that a bike hit him but later changed that he was attacked by miscreants.
In this backdrop, we concluded that personal reasons might be involved in it. We will continue our investigation to collect evidence,” DSP said. Srikakulam One Town CI B Prasada Rao and Gara SI B Ganesh were present.
