Skills in dairy tech will fetch additional income
Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) Vice-Chancellor Y Haribabu said that gaining skills in dairy technology will be useful not only for farmers but also for upcoming entrepreneurs.
Tirupati: Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) Vice-Chancellor Y Haribabu said that gaining skills in dairy technology will be useful not only for farmers but also for upcoming entrepreneurs. The V-C inaugurated a week-long training course on dairy technology for non-dairy technologists on the varsity campus here on Friday.
Addressing the delegates, the V-C said that acquiring skills in dairy technology will enhance the source of income. Haribabu made an appeal to participants to educate the farmers in dairy technologies after completion of the course. Dairy technology experts Prof Venkatesaiah and Arun Kumar from New Delhi also spoke.
In the inaugural meeting, Varsity Registrar Srinivas Rao, Director D Srinivasulu, Dairy Technology College Principal Y Kotilinga Reddy, SVVU College Principal Dr Nalini Kumari and students were present.
