CEC students excel tourney

The students of Chirala Engineering College exhibited excellence in the JNTUK Zone D Inter-Collegiate Tournament at Narasaraopet, disclosed the college management. The college joint secretary Tella Ashok Kumar in a press release here on Sunday announced that the college team is champion of kho kho and runner up in kabaddi tournament.
Chirala: The students of Chirala Engineering College exhibited excellence in the JNTUK Zone D Inter-Collegiate Tournament at Narasaraopet, disclosed the college management. The college joint secretary Tella Ashok Kumar in a press release here on Sunday announced that the college team is champion of kho kho and runner up in kabaddi tournament.
Ashok Kumar said that 16 teams, including the team from Chirala Engineering College participated in kho kho tournament while 25 teams competed in kabaddi tournament. He said that the CEC teams reached finals of the both sports and defeated Tirumala Engineering College in kho kho to became the champion and stood in second position in kabaddi.
