Mayor’s call to maintain parks
Mayor Sk Abdul Aziz appealed to residents to come forward for maintaining local parks by registering themselves as associations. He assured that the civic body would support such associations by allocating funds for taking up works in the parks.
Nellore: Mayor Sk Abdul Aziz appealed to residents to come forward for maintaining local parks by registering themselves as associations. He assured that the civic body would support such associations by allocating funds for taking up works in the parks.
Inspecting People’s Park at Harinathapuram area here on Sunday, Aziz appreciated efforts of the association members for their unity and hardship in keeping park clean. He said that the corporation will arrange Women Self-Employment Training Centre for the benefit of local women.
He said they can participate in the training along with other programmes and explained that the women would develop greenery in the park and provide toys to children, beautify the compound wall and construct huge entrance gate.
