YSRCP backs Collector
The resignations submitted by 10 TDP corporators for their posts allegedly in protest against the rude attitude of District Collector T Babu Rao Naidu on Saturday has taken an interesting twist with the YSR Congress party backing the Collector for his initiative in ordering the probe over the issue.

Sepaking to the media here on Sunday, YSR Congress MLA Amjad Basha and Kadapa Municipal Corporation Mayor Suresh Babu said that the District Collector has taken the right decision as it was fact there was many irregularities took place during the distribution of house site pattas during the Janma Bhoomi- Maa Vuru’ programme.
He said that TDP corporators were responsible for issuing house sites for the ineligible candidates. MLA Amjad Basha said that about 40 percent of 850 house sites distributed in Kadapa city were bogus.
The MLA also demanded the District Collector to order a departmental inquiry over the issue. Meanwhile the 10 TDP corporators, who submitted their resignations on Saturday, took back their resignations, following the advice of the party district president R Srinivasulu Reddy on Sunday.
